My rediscovered loves

I've rediscovered some old loves and now I remember why I liked them so much in the first place! The Kiko long lasting stick eyeshadow is just amazing! It does exactly what it says on the tin, no gimmicks, no nothing, just a super affordable, easy to apply and off you go! The colour doesn't have a name but its the number 05 and it's worth picking up! I love how its so quick to apply, just draw it on and smudge with your fingers and your all set! I went out for dinner last night and wore this and my friends commented on how nice my eye shadow looked, which was nice because I spent like 2 mins tops applying it! I will do anything for an easy life.

I bought this lipstick about a year ago on a whim and decided it wasn't for me. It got lost in my pile for a while but since I have been loving the nudes recently, I dug it out and thought I would give it a try again. This lipstick is called 'Viva Glam V and is in a lustre finish - not something I would normally go for! It gives a lovely sheer finish, nearly like a lip gloss and is perfect for work and everyday wear.

I just love writing things down at the moment. At the weekend I went into an art gallery and it was full of students with their note books out writing things down and it just inspired me to just start using pen and paper more. My boy - friend (it's complicated) ordered me some books for my birthday and that has inspired me to read more. P.s the diary is from Paper chase!

Beauty Wants!

Beauty Wants!

Every time I go into Fenwicks I always come out smelling like a bath bomb, from the amount of fragrances I tested. Ok so how many times does a girl have to mention she wants Coco Chanel and still hasn't got it? I mean I have now mentioned this perfume 3 times on my Blog and still no one has got the hint! Gawwwwd guysss! As you may have read on my 'October Favourites' post, I am really loving Lush at the moment for their skincare, I have been doing my research and these three products I will be purchasing next. Mask of Magnamity, looks amazing and from the reviews, sounds like it will keep my spots at bay. I will be 100% be picking this up when I am next in store!

October favourites

Hey!
Since it is nearly the end of October, I thought I would show you some of my favourites! I haven't really been buying a lot this month, but somehow I have managed to spend nearly all my money *sigh*. As well has having no money, ALL of my beauty products have been running out which is typical. I have been absolutely loving Lush this month. I'm not really a bath bomb person or a soap kind of gall - just stick to the good old Radox, but I popped into the store to get the fabulous 'Snow Fairy' and ended up picking up some goodies!

Since my 'REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask' ran out, I have been in urgent need of a new, more gentle face mask. So I bought 'Oatfix' and oh my gawwwd, where has this been all my life? Not only does it smell amazing, to be more precise like breakfast on my face, It works wonders! With the blend of bananas, oatmeal and almonds it moisturises my skin and leaves it feeling so soft! These winter months have started to take troll on my face, leaving it feeling dry and honestly this fixed my problems straight away! Although it looks like sick on your face, I can build a bridge and get over it because it was only £6.50 and it is amazing!

I was after a new body scrub, so I bought 'Ocean Salt' and its quite nice! As my skin is quite sensitive, I was quite worried to try this but actually it's quite gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling soft. Another Lush product I love is the 'Bubble Gum Lip Scrub'. 9 times out of 10 I do find myself sitting there applying it and then licking it off, however you can't blame me because it tastes and smells amazing!

Ok you know Christmas is coming when Lush launch their Christmas products. I think I buy this shower gel every Christmas and I love it! I know this is a little off topic and probably shouldn't say this but I probably would in person but all these flavoured lubes etc you can buy from Ann Summers, who needs those? Just use this and you will smell like bubblegum.

My mother bought me a massive box of Munchies, I f*cking love munchies. Although I do prefer the mint ones but hey ho. Astral cream has been a little life safer! It's super cheap and its such a good moisturiser! I think you can buy a tub of this for about £2-3 and you can use it on your face! Lastly I am not a lip gloss fan at all but this Smash box one is really really nice! Its not sticky, bonus and it's just a perfect nude colour!

I love dance movies, I wish I could dance like that, but sadly I cant't even when drunk! The movie itself is shit but I just sometimes find myself sitting there and watching the whole iconic dance scene at the end, over and over again, Its amazing!

Collective September Haul

Hey!

This haul is long overdue but hey ho, I've eventually had time to write this post so I'm just going to get straight into it!

Beauty

Smash Box - Try it kit - £19 from Boots. The story behind this is that I ran out of primer and really wanted to try the normal clear primer from Smash Box, so I bought this. The verdict so far is I HATE the primer as it feels really weird a little bit like latex, but I really like the mascara and lip gloss, so money was technically not wasted.  But you live and you learn!

After eyeing up the 'And God Created the Woman' palette for a while, I caved and bought it. However £35 was well spent as I actually adore this palette. I have never tried any Nars eye shadows but I'm glad I have because they are lovely! Also it comes with a brush and a primer which is amazing so money well spent, in my opinion.

Fashion

These beauties are from Zara. I bought these on a total whim and mainly because they are quite unique... but I still haven't worn them yet! I don't think they are going to be comfortable but they will be fine If I am going for a meal where I will be sitting down!

Lastly good old Primark! These shoes are gorgeous and they were only £12... bargain! They will look tres chic with a pair of black jeans, striped t-shirt and a long coat. Also I am a sucker for hats. I always buy them but never wear them but I haven't got a burgundy hat so I bought it woopsy. For £8 it will be perfect for autumn and it's 100% wool!

So that was that! So I have finally decided to start You Tube! I feel a little more confident about myself and I've always wanted to try it, so  I am going to give it a whirl! I am not going to lie, it won't be perfect first time round, but I will never be satisfied unless I try! So once I figure out how to edit, my first video should be up soon! Exciting but scary stuff!

Perfume Wants!

Perfume Wants!

Perfume Wants! by charlotte-hey featuring perfume fragrances

Not going to lie... I actually want them all! I featured the Coco Chanel perfume on a previous 'Beauty Wishlist' back in May and it still isn't mine, getting quite desperate now! So at first I thought the whole Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream, was going to be one of those over rated talked about products, until I smelt it in Boots the other day! To be very honest I think the bottle and free gift has made me change my mind because not only do you get a free make up bag, but you get a miniature bottle of perfume which is SUPER CUTE. I am a sucker for cute things! Although this month not only do I have my normal bills to pay, my car insurance is due to be renewed, which is just devastating! However as a beauty addict I'm sure I will find money from somewhere to buy one of these beauties!

What's your favourite perfume?

7 deadly sins - Beauty Tag

Hey!
So my friend Emily from 'Inspired By Em' tagged me in this tag. I haven't done a beauty tag before but I thought I would give it a whirl!

1. Greed: Your most expensive product & least expensive product -
Well Nars Laguna has to be the most expensive product in my make up bag, costing a big £28/29, which is rather expensive for a bronzer. However, I do love it! It matches my skin tone perfectly and it's fantastic to contour with.

My cheapest product is 'Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick' and they are priced at £5. For a drug store lipstick these are fantastic! The colours are rather pigmented and the texture is creamy. I have a nude one called 'Notting Hill Nude' and this is lovely and better than any other MAC nude lipsticks I have tried. Another good one worth checking out is called 'Glam Plum Fulham' and it's the exact dupe for MAC Rebel.

1. Nars Laguna Bronzer.
2. Wrath, Beauty products you share a love/ hate relationship with.

Below is MAC's 'Dainty' blush and I have a serious love hate relationship with it! This is my go to everyday Blush as it's a really pretty and feminine. Although the colour is build-able and it has a slight shimmer in it, I wish I bought a cheaper alternative as I don't think it's worth the money.

2. Mac Dainty

3. Gluttony, Most delicious product

The NUXE Reve de Miel lip balm is my holy grail lip product.. Amen. Not only does it taste amazing, It leaves your lips feeling amazing, but so it should for £10!

4. Sloth, Products that are usually neglected due to laziness
I am the biggest sloth when it comes to nail polish. I love putting it on and making it look perfect but when it starts to chip... I could leave it for weeks before I take it off!

5. Pride, The product which gives you the most confidence - When I wear bright lipstick I always feel confident. My favourite bright lipstick of all time has to be MAC 'Up the Amp' which is nearly all used up! I just love it!

6. Lust, Luxury product (s) that you want to try out
I really want to try the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eye shadow sticks. But they are rather pricey, I don't know if I can justify spending £28 on an eye shadow. Another Luxury product I really want to try out is Charlotte Tilbury eye shadow palette and YSL Lipsticks but I don't think I will be rushing out to buy them any time soon!

7. Envy, What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

A YSL lipstick would be nice or something from the Charlotte Tilbury range.

Have you done this tag before? If so leave a comment so I can check it out!

My make up storage

Hey!

I love having an organised system for my make up! I'm starting to really get into make up at the moment and my make up collection is growing! I've been wanting some acrylic make up draws from Muji but they are so expensive! So when I found this bad boy from TK Maxx, I quickly snapped it up and it was only £12.99... not bad! I threw the packaging away so I can't tell you the exact dimensions but these draws are a pretty decent size, as I can fit all my make up in, including my foundation bottles!

In the top draw (below) I can fit all of my eye make up in, with plenty of space for more!

In the second draw I store all my blusher, bronzer and highlighters! I am really loving the MAC 'soft and gentle' highlighter at the moment because it gives me a beautiful natural sun kissed glow and that looks awesome for summer!

In my third draw I store all of my foundation, primers & powders. As you can see my Nars Sheer Glow foundation sits comfortably in this draw and there is definatly space for more!

Do you have any make up storage?

June Beauty Wish List

June Beauty Wish List

As summer is approaching fast, it is about time that I start saving my money and stop spending (easier said than done). Essie's 'Butler Please' looks amazing, I love cobalt blue and I think it will look fabulous on my nails! I know £8 is a lot to pay for a nail polish but I always find Essie nail polishes to be good and long lasting. I love this Ted Baker make up bag, its super cute and I love the pastel colours they come in! Although it's £25 it will look super cute with my make up collection. Now isn't that a good excuse to buy! Finally MAC's 217 blending brush is definatly a must have, and when pay day arrives I will be buying one!

Lid Stuff - What's Nude.

I have never tried any of Soap and Glory's make up range before but after swatching this quad in the shop I was amazed. All of the colours are so pigmented and the staying power is great! I've been wanting some matte eye shadows for a long time and I am so pleased I discovered this instead of splashing out on an expensive palette. For £10 you get three matte and one shimmer. The matte shades are so natural looking and the shimmer is like a taupe colour and is a good dupe to the popular Satin Taupe by Mac. The packaging is sturdy and I like  how Soap & Glory's logo is embossed in the eye shadow. I also like how  it's compact and is a perfect size for when you are on your travels.

Top left - Vanilla  - Perfect for your inner corner of the eye.
Top Right - Pink T  - Lovely base
Bottom Left -MudHoney - Perfect colour for my brows
Bottom Right - Aubersheen - Dupe for Satin Taupe by Mac.

Have you tried Soap & Glory make up before?

Beauty Wish list!

Beauty Wish list!

Finally it's coming to the end of a 5 week month and it's nearly pay day yay! Every time I go into Boots or a department store I always go straight to the Chanel counter for a smell of the beautiful Coco Mademoiselle. I really need a new bottle of perfume, so that has got to be the perfect excuse to splash some cash. I've been lusting after the new Nars contour highlighter and blush combo, it looks amazing! Also I have a confession to make... I have never purchased a Topshop lipstick before! I have always wanted to pick up the colour 'innocent' which is a beautiful dusty pink colour, but never got round to it... maybe when I'm in Topshop next time it may accidentally slip into by basket!

OPI have a new Neon nail Lacquer collection and I adore this neon yellow colour. Not only will it look fabulous with a tan, but the name 'Life gave me lemons' sold me. For all the Modern Family fans this quote instantly popped into my head when I read the name -

If life gives you lemonade- make lemons and life will be all like "whaaaaat?” - Phil Dunphy
